The Game Developers Conference brings together the game development community to exchange ideas, solve problems, and shape the future of the industry over five days of learning, inspiration, and networking. Attendees include programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, and business leaders. Some key features include:

  • Showcasing the latest game development tools and services from leading technology companies such as AWS, Epic, and Google;

The Game Developers Conference started as an informal meeting of 25 developers in a game designer’s living room. Initially focusing on computer games, the conference has grown and diversified along with the gaming industry to include a variety of platforms including consoles, mobile and handheld devices, tablets, online and PC games, and is expanding into the VR and AR space for gaming and entertainment.

The conference advisory board is comprised of experienced gaming and virtual reality/augmented reality industry professionals who volunteer their time each year to help develop the conference program and sessions. The consultants work to ensure that the content is compelling, relevant, and timely, and their dedication is critical to the success of the conference.
